In this watercolour painting titled "Crossing the Silence", I wanted to capture a quiet moment of transition — a woman suspended between inner thought and the world beyond the frame. The gentle movement of the body reaching outward suggests hesitation, curiosity, and the fragile courage it takes to step into the unknown. Soft light and muted landscape tones create a calm, almost dreamlike atmosphere, where silence becomes a space for reflection rather than emptiness. The painting is framed in the Art Nouveau style frame which I made myself.
