The painting explores the boundary between textile structure and pictorial space. Rhythmic, overlapping brushstrokes evoke the dense weave of jacquard fabric, each mark deliberate, each layer built upon the last , while the composition simultaneously opens toward depth and atmosphere. Vertical and diagonal strokes in muted blues, greens, burgundy and ochre create a surface that vibrates between flatness and recession, between the tactile and the spatial. The work draws on the visual language of weaving ,repetition, pattern, rhythm , and translates it into paint, asking where the fabric ends and space begins.
