Set against a sunlit shoreline, the two figures evoke memories of summer holidays, shared adventures and moments that become lifelong memories. Women and water are recurring themes in my work. For me, water symbolizes both strength and continuity — a connection that flows across generations. Through bold colour and simplified forms, I explore love, trust and the quiet resilience found in family relationships. The painting is a tribute to the enduring connection between mother and daughter, and to the simple moments by the sea that stay with us long after summer has ended.
