The artist is pushing spectators to ponder the societal issues of violence against children that happens worldwide everyday. We are meant to be the protectors of the youth. This piece shows the emotion of tragedy and abandonment that generations of children have experienced, and unfortunately will continue to until we make a change. It also challenges the spectators to look at large organization that benefit economically from the long term trauma as these children transition into adulthood.
