Rules

TARGET PAINTING PRIZE is a private initiative for the promotion of art. Our goal is to give visibility to creators, motivate artistic production, and provide content to enthusiasts, collectors, and galleries. The main driver of the cultural project is the international online painting competition. A jury of recognized prestige will evaluate digitally registered works on www.targetpaintingprize.com and select the 70 finalist paintings. The first prize for the selected artists will be to participate in a collective exhibition in Madrid and the resulting catalog of the exhibition. In Madrid, the jury will decide which paintings deserve the 22 cash prizes and the rest of the awards.

The inaugural edition of TARGET PAINTING PRIZE will distribute over €30,000 in cash. In addition, the organization will establish a significant purchasing fund for the acquisition of artworks. The combination of both endowments will position this competition among the most important in the world.

The organization will also reward participants with a one-week Residency at the MAA (Madrid Academy of ART), various awards with fine arts materials, and promotion in international art magazines.
