Juan Francisco Gómez-Cambronero (Madrid, 1976) is a painter with a prominent international profile, whose work combines refined technique, bold yet balanced brushstrokes, deep emotional resonance, and a highly personal visual narrative. Based in Daimiel, in the heart of La Mancha, he balances his training as a civil engineer with a profound artistic vocation cultivated since childhood.
His style, which he defines as contemporary narrative figurative art, fuses light, movement, and color into compositions that seek to evoke atmospheres rich with meaning. He fractures lines and contours to free his paintings from rigidity and amplify their expressiveness. Each work emerges from an emotion or idea demanding transformation into imagery, which is why his output is limited and every piece is unique. He enjoys exploring diverse themes—from portraiture to urban landscapes—as a way to savor painting in all its possibilities.
He has exhibited in countries such as the United States, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Hungary, Monaco, Morocco, and the United Arab Emirates, and has received numerous national and international awards. His works are held in private and institutional collections in New York, South Korea, Taiwan, Austria, Switzerland, and Germany. In 2023, his art was showcased at the European Parliament in Brussels, and he was a finalist in prestigious competitions like the ARC Salon (New York, 2024) and MOD PORTRAIT (MEAM, Barcelona).
Currently, he directs the international Tartget Prize and serves as a juror for various art contests, contributing his exhibition experience, artistic discernment, and a distinctive sensitivity toward visual storytelling and technical excellence.
