The Soul Behind the Tartget Prize
The competition was born from the vision of three professionals from Daimiel who have united their expertise to elevate contemporary painting and project their heritage onto the global stage:
Juan Francisco Gómez-Cambronero (CEO and Artistic Director) Artist and the creative engine of the project. His dual nature as both creator and manager ensures that Tartget speaks the same language as the painter, always striving for excellence and technical rigor.
Ismael Terriza (Director of Communications and Institutional Relations) The journalist tasked with giving a voice to the competition. His role serves as the bridge between art, institutions, and the public, ensuring that the talent of the participants finds the international resonance it deserves.
José Luis Sánchez-Montañés (Technical and Audiovisual Director) The eye behind the lens. He is responsible for ensuring that the competition’s imagery and documentation—including the residency documentaries—possess a cinematographic quality that honors the mastery of the exhibited works.
