“Almost Home” reflects the feeling of reaching the end of a difficult journey. The light on the horizon represents being almost home—close to safety, rest, and clarity after moving through darkness and uncertainty. The viewer stands in the foreground, still surrounded by shadow, but guided forward by what lies ahead. The contrast between light and dark expresses struggle, endurance, and quiet hope. Through simple color and brushwork, I focus on emotion rather than place. This work is about continuing forward when you are tired, trusting that what you have been moving toward is finally within reach.
