Featuring my husband, an architect and immigrant to Canada, this painting captures a moment of deep reflection. The architectural sketches he holds symbolize the ‘between’ phase of design, where ideas and concepts are still forming. The reflection of his face blending with the landscape outside reinforces the theme of existing between two worlds. The vibrant greens, yellows, and blues evoke hope and contemplation, capturing the delicate balance of being ‘in-between.’
