A woman slowly emerges through the mist, her form appearing and dissolving at once. The painting becomes an allegory for the journey many women move through in life - shaped by vulnerability, resilience, and transformation. Her arms fold inward like armour, suggesting protection and self-preservation, yet her expression remains steady, bold, and quietly defiant. She faces the world with courage, but also with caution and care. I wanted the work to hold that tension: strength existing alongside softness, and bravery existing alongside vulnerability.
