Painted on location in Hampstead, this work reflects my fascination with the interplay between nature and the city. The branches and their reflections create a visual dialogue between what is seen and what is imagined, suggesting a fluid boundary between water, light and land. Through colour, atmosphere and reflection, the painting seeks to evoke the experience of the place rather than simply record it, inviting the viewer to pause and look more closely.
