In my work 'Le Quai Numéro Deux. L'Acte du Couronnement', I seek to bridge the gap between rigorous academic tradition and the pulse of modern existence. By placing a sacred, ritualistic scene of coronation within the industrial coldness of a railway station, I explore the persistence of the spiritual in our everyday rush. This large-scale composition utilizes dramatic chiaroscuro and complex figurative arrangements to transform a mundane transit point into a timeless stage of human destiny. My goal is to demonstrate that classical technique is not a relic of the past, but a vital, powerful language capable of capturing the profound mysteries of the contemporary world.
