Water is not a stable image, but a field of constant transformation. In this work, I explore the fragile boundary between surface and depth, where reflection disrupts perception. To me, the water’s surface is a thin membrane — a delicate interface between two worlds that can be shattered by the slightest interference. My technique, which fragments the landscape into geometric color planes, reflects this instability. I perceive the environment not as a fixed scene, but as a shifting, unstable presence that cannot be fully held. By translating this ephemeral perception into structured form and color, I seek to highlight the vulnerability of aquatic ecosystems: the silent tension between the enduring strength of nature and its profound fragility.
