This work centers on opposing the Russia-Ukraine conflict, focusing on how war destroys ordinary people’s lives and undermines civilized order. In the painting, urban buildings fade into smoke and ruins; daily homes become battlefields. Planes and explosions symbolize violence and destruction, while the soldiers’ tired and vacant expressions reflect their helplessness and sacrifice in war. I aim to convey through visual language that war is never distant—it destroys homes, rips apart life, and makes peaceful daily existence unattainable. The work calls for an end to conflict, a return to dialogue, and a respect for life and tranquility. It rejects all forms of violence as a means of resolving disputes, praying for calm to return to cities and homes, and for the shadow of war to lift completely.
