Scroll 2025 is a series of large-scale oil paintings that translate fleeting social media images into slow, physical form. Working from real screenshots, the paintings capture moments where politics, everyday labor, intimacy, and spectacle collide within the same visual stream. Coming from a long digital background, I approach painting as a way to resist speed, compression, and constant image consumption. Rather than moralizing, the works suspend familiar images and invite prolonged looking, allowing tension, irony, and visual fatigue to surface through scale, composition, and surface.
