Smoke Screens & Illusions explores the tension between surface and truth — the idea that what presents itself on the outside is rarely what lies beneath. Built through layers of acrylic and textured medium on canvas, the work uses cracked, crumbling surfaces erupting through swirling black and grey to embody deception made physical.
