Together, these pieces explore the gradual loss of bodily control within a living and immersive system, where water becomes more than landscape: it transforms into a perceptual and emotional force capable of absorbing the human presence. In El instante, the figure remains suspended in the precise moment before being completely overtaken. Inspired by the tension of an approaching wave —whether physical or conceptual— the work evokes the final second in which identity still exists before surrendering to a greater force. The body has not yet disappeared, but the currents have already begun to reach it, surround it, and slowly claim it.
