This paper was never intended to become an artwork. It simply received the traces of an action that once took place, quietly preserving what remained. Beginning with Wataru, a work shaped through intention, moving through Voice, which expresses the resonance of inner will, and then to Both sides, which seeks to dismantle the boundary between front and back, this work was discovered beyond the point where intention itself had been relinquished.What exists here is simply a trace. The trace of time. The trace of a touch. The trace of something passing through. The trace of a presence that once existed. When these traces—once destined to be discarded and forgotten—are re-defined as an artwork, Vestige becomes both evidence of a past event and a new space for dialogue.
