This artwork stems from a paradox: giving form to the invisible to immortalize it in painting. Based on a photograph taken in a park, the empty space around the central motif is first filled with modeling clay. During this preparatory modeling, absence comes to life and new forms emerge. This volume is then transcribed onto an assembly of nine A4 sheets. This fragmentation mimics the mechanics of our gaze, which never perceives the world as a single whole. The resulting grid compels the eye to scan and piece together each zone to reconstruct the image, gradually providing an opening into a parallel reality. This interplay of perception reveals that the void is not neutral: it becomes a receptacle for traces of the past or the imprint of invisible presences. The artwork thus invites the viewer to observe the world as it truly is: a constant dialogue between the visible and the invisible.
