Valencian Orange' is a deeply personal reflection of my time under the vibrant sun of Valencia in 2023. To me, this painting is not just a portrait, but a dialogue between the human form and the spirit of the Mediterranean. I constructed this 90x90 cm piece as a mosaic of fractured light and geometric rhythm. Each acrylic stroke is a fragment of a larger puzzle, mirroring how our memories are composed of shattered impressions: shimmering heat, the cool shadows of blue tiles, and the scent of terracotta. Within this square canvas, the boundaries between the figure and her surroundings begin to dissolve. At the heart of the composition lies the orange—a symbol of Valencia’s soul. Rendered in a saturated burst of color, it serves as an anchor for the spirit. It is a spark of life, a fruit that holds the sun’s warmth within its skin. Through this 'mosaic' technique, I invite the viewer to lose themselves in the abstract dance of colors, only to step back and find the harmony of the whole
