The act of Dissassociation, removing oneself from an experience that causes unease (for example the company of others that are disturbing to one’s peace) is a transformative experience that can be exulting to the psyche of the individual. Disassociate Eye focuses on this experience and the resulting escape to freedom. The main character in the foreground with the Eye of Consciousness open is aware of the danger of the situation and dissolves in form, pixelating in layers of symbolic colour contrasts while shielded beneath a layer of protection as the characters in the background lurk menacingly forward, morphing and revealing their true nature as humans with bestial qualities and malintent.
