In 2020, her grandfather, Ron Sayers, his grandkids called him Bully, supported Eva in the journey to hopefully represent Australia one day. When Eva’s previous horse retired, he bought her a new horse, Baci. This painting is from their together, the toughest type of competition for that level. Ron always came to support his granddaughters. Due to the rain this year, Eva's mum got Bully to park as close as he could, but he didn't think that was close enough. He reasoned that he would sit there and clap so the judges would give Eva more marks. So he stood in the rain on the edge of the arena supporting her and attempted to take a photo of Eva and her horse Baci. Ron was an amazing man who loved horses and supporting his granddaughters. Unfortunately, Ron passed away from a fight with cancer in May 2022. This painting means a lot to Eva as it reminds her of how proud Bully was and how much he loved watching and supporting in her career.
