The drawing is part of my Portrait-Series "Deccendence to the Underworld", in which I deal with the subconscious and the unconscious, with memories, dreams and delusions, life crises and the question about dead and afterlife. In this drawing two drawings became one: "The unidentified flying Object", in which I deal with the things we are not able to understand. Why not looking at them as if they were part of a fairytale that longs to be told? and "Half of the Soul", in which I deal with the fact that most of our human being is drifen by our unconscious. How could it feel to be more conscious? In "The unidentified part of the Soul" the not capable part of the soul and the phantasy about how it could feel to be more conscious melt into a contradictory twin. How could each of them become her own self?
