This has to do with interconnectivity and the sensation of sharing the human experience for brief moments. At any given time period, especially in a city, we pass others—so many separate centers of universes. There are breaths of time when we remember—before we become entrenched in our own stories—that they each have a life as vivid and complex as our own. It is something easy to and oftentimes forgotten. We have for that moment, time shared, before we all go our separate ways, living out so many different stories.
