War ends nothing.
Except childhoods, futures and lives that never had the chance to become something more. A lone guardian stands protector to all children, holding faith and loss in the same hand. He represents all we are not doing, internationally and politically, to stop this horror. And it is heartbreaking. Beneath him, the children exist in their innocence—untouched for a moment, yet never beyond reach. Butterflies move softly through this scene and arrive like a breath of grace before moments of atrocity. They are a spiritual presence sent when it’s needed most. A reminder that even in the darkest deeds of human immorality, something more than hope must exist. This work asks a simple question: if the cost is always this high, what can another hapless , hopeless, greedy war, ever achieve?.
