Francesco Cusumano was born in Carini, Palermo, Sicily, in 1964. Painting has been part of his life since he was a child. Paper and colors were his favorite toys. His fascination for art has continued over the years.
He began to handle the contrasts of light and dark, to identify proportion and to place the elements of his works in their proper relationship. Intrigued by the works of Hans Falk and Sam Francis, he continued his exploration by developing his skills during art classes, guided by a great teacher the artist Ruedi Sieber.
