This painting is a combination of surrealism and abstract realism. The artist is a female born in a city in the Philippines called Davao which is also home to the world’s largest eagle. The Philippine flag’s main colours are blue & red, the blue feathers being placed above red stands for peace, justice, sacrifice, truth and that the good always rise above. The leaves represent the importance of greenery in the ecosystem and the connection between all living things. The background represents artistic freedom and ingenuity. The artist intends to send a message to everybody about being strong and brave in soaring high yet maintaining balance in every aspect of life.
