My artistic process is a dance between imagination and reality, fueled by my passion for painting. At the heart of my work lies the meticulous design and creation of life-sized costumes, each serving as a tangible embodiment of the characters in my paintings. These costumes allow me to immerse myself in the world I wish to portray, and to predict movements and interactions with precision. Inspiration for my work is drawn from diverse sources, ranging from history and mythology to personal experiences and contemporary culture. I relish the contrast between light and dark, strength and vulnerability, and I explore the tension that arises when seemingly disparate elements come together. My current work focuses on the exploration of exaggerated defensive instincts and fragile power dynamics.
