To call attention to the current destruction of nature, perhaps in turn as a reflection of the inner decay of man. Capturing the depth of human introspection, I merged watercolor's whimsy with expressionism's intensity, and symbolism's depth. This piece is an invitation to embrace the layers within us, where silence speaks volumes. It's an ethos of emotional landscapes, swirling amidst fine art's elegance. Imbue your space with the poetic silence and profound contemplation that this artwork breathes into existence. I primarily work with watercolor. Yet, as visible in artworks from my collections, I challenge the conventional views of this medium. In my paintings, the medium is not so transparent, not so spontaneous in some parts, and not so ‘watercolor’ anymore. The brush strokes are delicate, sensitive and sharp; the essence of Chinese calligraphy is reflected in my watercolor works.
