"Faces of Eternity" captures the timeless essence of the Norns, the mythical weavers of fate in Norse mythology, symbolizing the interconnectedness of past, present, and future in a layered composition. The top face represents the present, engaged and watchful, reflecting the immediacy of now. Below, the face of the past observes from a distance, marked by memories shaping our understanding of what has been. At the bottom, the future is symbolized by a partially incomplete face, notably lacking a forehead—a void representing the unwritten nature of what is yet to come, illustrating the uncertainty and potential ahead. Thread-like structures weave through the piece, symbolizing the strands of fate that connect all three faces, reminding us of the inseparable link between time’s dimensions.
