“Fire” belongs to the series “The Four Elements”. Using the basics of acrylic art, this abstract work portrays the wild energy and erratic nature of fire through a composition of hues, textures and even the real-life depiction of the flames themselves. The red and orange hues observe the extreme heat of the burning process, while the blue-violet tones reflect the hottest regions of combustion. But what makes “Fire” truly unique is its materiality — the painting bears real burns, the scars of actual fire flames, transforming fire into not simply its object but active agent of its own making. The yellow flames. indicated by strands of yellow rope, which twist and extend across the canvas are also partially burned. Fire, in itself, is quite an inspiration for me. The picture vibrates with movement, its textures suggesting the flickering, endlessly changing shape of flames. The effect is instantaneous : “Fire” is a shocking experience that represents the energy and force of the Fire.
