This dolphin painting was such a joy to create. I love dolphins and have had many ocean swims with them. Their playful and cheerful nature always inspires me. One of my favorite memories is encountering a dolphin at sunrise on Tybee Island. We swam together in the golden light of the rising sun. Later, I painted a beach landscape, savoring the solitude. Painting this dolphin brought back cherished memories and reminded me to face stressful times with a joyful spirit. I painted its eye half-open to convey both relaxation and awareness. I especially love the sunrays on its body and the sparkle of the water’s surface.
