This little portrait was started as a demo on a recent workshop that I ministered in my studio in Porto Alegre. The workshop was titled "Expressive Painting", and was such an inspiring 2 full days with a talented group of creatives. I got back to the sketch after a few days and had a wonderful experience bringing it to a finish. This was a great example for me of how I can behave with an inspiring reference to bring the painting its own life, beyond what was already there.
