"Like Liquid" is part of a current series I am doing, Chroma 2. Several years ago I worked on my first Chroma series which featured 20 small paintings. Each piece explored the figure, color, expression, and movement. Chroma 2 is a continuation upon these themes with the goal of pushing my boundaries even further. "Like Liquid" is the best representation of my current series, to use saturated colors and bold movements to enhance the emotional impact of the figure.
