Menina is an oil painting work where she sought to create a new reading of colonialism using works from the Spanish golden age contrasted with natives of the Americas, titles of hegemonic cultural, social, political and consumer magazines as a contemporary element of communication, in addition to tiles or corrugated metal sheets as a symbol of austerity and extreme poverty in Latin America. It is a surreal scene but inspired by the delirious human condition in its history and evolution.
