The location is the old, abandoned L.A. Zoo. The young woman in this isolated space evokes a visceral response. The decaying environment takes on a new life and exposes the seedy underbelly of neglect, developing an eco-system of its own. Drenched in vulnerability, I sensed the connection between the girl in her stripes and the ghosts of the previous inhabitants.
