I only rarely paint still life. This was a challenge to make the ordinary objects interesting, but without being too realistic, a little abstract instead, keeping the edges loose. I wanted the brushstrokes to be vibrant with subtle hue shifts, leaving some mystery. Rara vez pinto bodegones.
