After I lost both my grandmothers in 2018, I realized that life is very short and that I didn't get to honor those I loved the most. At the same time, I realized that art is a beautiful way to keep the memory of loved ones alive, so I decided to make this portrait of my grandfather who is still alive. Basically, I represented not necessarily a real image of him, but the way I would like to remember him after he is no longer in this world. I hope with all my heart that through art I can honor him as long as he lives!
