We all carry vulnerabilities or disappointments within us that we often hide or keep secret, in order to not reveal our individual weaknesses or provide a target for attack. In my work, I want to highlight this contradiction and encourage the viewer to accept their own vulnerability as an important part of being human. The thread of Ariadne, as a mythological symbol of orientation and navigation, helped Theseus defeat the Minotaur in the chaos of the labyrinth. In our modern fast-paced world, we often look for a similar guide to help us navigate a complex and unpredictable environment. I want to invite the viewer to search for their own inner thread, because the world is never purely black or white, but full of contrasts and shades of life. Even when situations seem unsolvable, it's worth pausing, because in the end, there is always a way out, comfort, or strength to be found.
