This painting is part of a series of paintings that I have recently been working on. The surface has a high relief of "frozen drips" that protrude from the surface like a blizzard of stalactites. The result is a colorful highly textured, pixelated, pointillistic surface as I call it. It's about "seeing paint" and what it reveals in It's surface and imagery. I have extended the picture plane into the viewers realm and brought them in turn into the painting.
