¬¬¬Ego Mortem is an expression of the process of life and death expressed in a humanistic, anthropomorphic form. This goddess like figure is the notion that bobs and sways in and out of our awareness with a sense of strange intimacy; always at the peripheral, a constant stranger. So attached to the psyche she has become, this painting began to reflect the “little deaths” we encounter throughout the stages of life as we decay, learn, and grow along the way to our finality.
