A curious woman, reflective in her study and observant on the street, over time she has acquired her own language with which she expresses her particular vision of the world. In Fernanda Rivero’s artistic style, one can appreciate her admiration for the work of abstract expressionist painters, especially Helen Frankenthaler, Joan Mitchell, and Lee Krasner.
Fernanda Rivero (Puebla, Mexico) holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the Universidad Iberoamericana and a Master’s degree in Industrial Design from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Her professional background has always kept her in touch with the creative arts, but it wasn’t until 2013 that she felt the need to find inspiration and motivation in her daily life, which she discovered through plastic and visual experimentation, participating in various sculpture and painting workshops in Mexico City. In 2017, she decided to pursue her passion full-time, dedicating herself to it and developing her work intuitively and experimentally.
She is a captivating abstract artist. Her pieces evoke a sense of wonder and contemplation, drawing viewers into a world of color, texture, and emotion. Her works are an example of continuous experimentation with method and technique. The message of her paintings also lends itself to a constant evolution in service of a very personal, brave, and determined reality.
